Kourtney Kardashian has commented on the leaked messages from Scott Disick to ex Younes Bendjima regarding her relationship with Travis Barker in the first episode of Hulu's The Kardashians.
The reality TV star, 42, and the Blink-182 drummer, 46, got engaged in October last year when Travis popped the question with a romantic beach proposal.
The lovebirds grabbed headlines with their steamy Italian holiday last summer and their public displays of affection did not go unnoticed by Kourtney’s on-and-off ex-boyfriend Scott, with whom she shares children Penelope, Mason and Reign.
Younes, 28, who dated Kourtney in 2018 and again briefly the following year, leaked messages that the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star's ex Scott had DM'd him about the romantic break.
The Algerian model took to his Instagram account to share a screenshot of messages from Scott's Instagram account, which read: “Yo is this chick ok!???? Broooo like what is this. In the middle of Italy,” alongside a snap of Kourtney putting on a tactile display with partner Travis.
Younes then replied: “Doesn’t matter to me as long as she’s happy PS: I ain't your bro.”
When Younes shared the exchange with his followers, he appeared to reference his and Scott's not so friendly relationship, writing: “Keep the same energy you had about me publicly, privately.”
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star addresses the leaked messages in the premiere episode of the famous family’s new Hulu reality show The Kardashians, after Scott is left upset at being excluded from family gatherings.
At lunch with sisters Kim, 41, and Khloe Kardashian, 37, Kourtney says of the publicly aired text exchange that it was “not really the vibe”.
She told her sisters: “I was in Italy and he was DMing Younes. I was like, ‘That's not really the vibe. Don't go DMing my ex-boyfriend’.”
Kourtney then told the cameras that she had woken up in Italy to a text message from Scott apologising for messaging Younes, noting that Scott “can’t stand” him.
Kourtney continued: “He was asking if he could apologise to Travis and then I wrote him saying this is despicable.
“For so many years Scott's always gotten away with bad behaviour and still been invited. I don't think that's going to continue.”
The POOSH founder added: “Me kissing the love of my life is not anything bad. I don't want it to be negative.
“I will continue to live my life and pretend no one is watching.”
In earlier scenes, sister Khloe said of the situation: “I know how much Travis and Kourtney love each other and that has to be hard for anyone to process, especially when everything's so public.”
The first episode of The Kardashians will be available to stream on Hulu from April 14.
