Kourtney Kardashian has revealed she knew "deep down" that her friendship with Travis Barker would be over if they "looked into each other’s eyes and made it physical".
The pair were neighbours and friends long before they took it to the next level last year.
And their whirlwind romance has continued to go from strength to strength as the pair got engaged in October and tied the knot - albeit without a marriage license - in Las Vegas on Sunday.
Speaking to ABC News presenter Robin Roberts, Kourtney, 42, has candidly confessed that she knew her relationship with Travis, 46, would continue to grow if they took it further than the friend zone.
She admitted it's "funny" to think about how they were just friends for so long.
The POOSH founder said: "It’s so funny when we think about, like, this is us. Can you believe it? We’re, like, Kourtney and Travis, who are friends."
She continued: "I felt like deep down, if we looked into each other’s eyes and made it, you know, physical, that it would just be over."
And their relationship was given the seal of approval by younger sis Khloe Kardashian who told the host: "Kourt and Trav are in an amazing place."
The pair have regularly posted their public displays of affection for all to see on social media and after reports circulated the pair had tied the knot in a quick-fire Las Vegas wedding, they eventually shared snaps from the occasion.
The loved-up couple had thrilled fans after revealing they jetted off to Las Vegas to have a classic Elvis-themed wedding.
Kourtney posted a few pictures from the unlicensed wedding ceremony earlier on Wednesday and her hubby (to be) quickly followed suit.
"What happens in Vegas," Blink-182 drummer Travis captioned his sweet post.
In one of the snaps, Kourtney was lying on her back on the floor smiling with joy as Travis leaned over her.
She had sunglasses on and held on to a bouquet of red roses. Both looked like the ultimate rock couple in their leather jackets and black jeans.
Another blurry image showed the two facing each other as they puckered up for a smooch.
The owner of the chapel they attended had earlier revealed how the pair demanded an Elvis impersonator to marry them in the early-hours ceremony.
Marty Frierson told Page Six how a member of the couple's entourage rang in the request and wouldn't commit to booking unless he hunted down someone to play the King of Rock n Roll.
He recalled the being asked: "[They said] 'We have a celebrity coming in from the awards [show] and want to make sure you’re open. We looked at your reviews.
"'You’re a five-star chapel, so we know it’s nice – but can you get us Elvis?'"
"So I’m like, ‘It’s kinda late, but let me see what I can do.'"
