A British man has been accused of raping a woman while another watched but didn’t intervene at a hotel on a Greek island holiday hotspot.
The two accused, aged 22 and 23, were arrested in Kos, Greece, accused of rape, following a complaint from a 27-year-old woman.
The alleged victim claims that one man raped her in her own hotel room in front of the second man who watched the attack but did not stop it, according to local reports in Dimokratiki.
The woman said she went back to her hotel room with the 22-year-old Brit.
The British men’s lawyer Alcibiadis Hatzantonis claimed to The Sun Online the sexual act was consensual.
He claimed: “There is no rape case—my client even made her a coffee and walked her to the bars so she could meet her friend.”
It came as a British woman accused four Belgian men of gang raping her in front of pals after meeting at a nightclub in the seaside resort of Faliraki early on Sunday morning.
The men aged 31, 31, 32 and 35 rejected the accusations claiming that the English woman contacted them of her own free will.
