Korean drug and fraud fugitive arrested in Phuket

PHUKET - A South Korean fugitive accused of drug trafficking and fraud was arrested in this island province on Wednesday, after overstaying his Thai visa for more than eight years.

The Korean national, identified only as Mr Lee, was wanted as an Interpol Red Notice, Pol Maj Gen Panthana Nuchanart, deputy commissioner of the Immigration Bureau, said on Thursday.
