KOLKATA: A 17-year-old hearing-and-speech-impaired minor and her 36-year-old mother, showed presence of mind and immense courage when they managed to catch the girl’s alleged molester and hand him to cops on Friday. The mother and daughter were helped by the driver of the auto they were in.
The accused, though, brought shame to the Kolkata Police when he turned out to be a constable posted with the Reserve Force. Debu Mondal was sent to two days of judicial custody by the local Sealdah court.
