With half term on the horizon many families will be looking for ways to entertain the kids without breaking the bank.
Knowsley Safari has made a day trip to the attraction much cheaper after launching half price tickets throughout the school break.
Children aged up to 15 years can take advantage of the half price entry with a full paying adult, and under threes get in for free.
There are lots of different animals to see at the venue, which as well as featuring the five-mile Safari Drive - with white rhino, African lions, wolves and more - also includes a Foot Safari, where visitors can see everything from giraffes and meerkats, to tigers and bush dogs.

Shows are also on at various points throughout the day, including a sea lion show and birds of prey display.
Knowsley Safari’s Rachel Scott said: “A day out at Knowsley Safari is always fun, and full, for the whole family - not just the kids. The added bonus of half price admission for children is sure to make it an even more attractive option for parents, grandparents and carers this February half term holiday.
“As well as the brilliant array of animals our visitors can see here – and our free to download audio guide app is packed with fun facts to make the experience educational, as well as entertaining – there are also so many other attractions, rides and refreshment stops for a whole day of exploration and memory making.”
The half price offer is available on all children’s tickets, from February 11 to 26 and brings the cost to £8.50 per child. Adults tickets are £18.50. For further information and to book, visit the website.
