A thug whose violent confrontation with police officers was stopped when he was knocked over by a squad car has been spared jail.
Iain Davie, 37, sparked a massive incident after terrified members of the public spotted him with two knives sticking out of his trousers.
Mobile phone footage captured by horrified passers-by showed Davie repeatedly lunge at police while holding one of the knives in East Kilbride.
