A knife-wielding man who injured three people in a series of attacks at the Grand Central subway station in New York City was shot dead by police on Saturday, authorities said, adding that there is no link to terrorism.
The suspect, identified as 44-year-old Anthony Griffen, carried out multiple stabbings shortly after arriving at the busy transit hub, prompting a swift response from the New York Police Department.
