Police were called to a holiday cottage in a Nottinghamshire village following reports two men had been stabbed after three men gate-crashed a party.
Officers said the three men who gate-crashed the party launched an "appalling" knife attack at the scene of the incident in Staythorpe during the early hours of Sunday, January 9.
Police said the attackers forced their way into the venue, which was being used by young people to host a party, and confronted those inside. Two young men took themselves to hospital and later required surgery to treat multiple stab wounds.
