On Friday night, the Golden State Warriors secured their ninth consecutive victory at home in front of the Chase Center crowd with a 119-111 win over the Chicago Bulls
Klay Thompson helped fuel Golden State’s offense with 26 points on 9-of-21 shooting from the floor with three made triples to go along with six assists and five rebounds in 37 minutes.
On the second leg of a back-to-back on Saturday against the Houston Rockets, Thompson will be on the bench. The Warriors are giving Thompson a rest day to close their home back-to-back. Thompson has yet to play both games of a back-to-back this season.

Klay Thompson is resting tonight against the Rockets. Still yet to play both sides of a back-to-back since return. No one else on the Warriors is sitting.

Without Thompson, Poole will likely get the nod in the starting lineup next to Steph Curry in Golden State’s backcourt. Poole is coming off a 30-point performance to lead the Warriors against the Bulls on Friday. Poole caught fire from long distance, drilling seven triples in 23 minutes off the bench.
The Warriors are slated to host the Rockets on Saturday night at Chase Center at 5:30 p.m. PT.
