Chocolate fans are kicking off after biting into KitKat bars only to find no wafer inside.
Angry customers have found they are just a solid choc bar.
KitKats are traditionally a chocolate-coated biscuit bar with three layers of wafer biscuit inside.
But it is not just the original bar showing up waferless - the brand's 'Chunky' and flavoured ranges are too.
One angry chocoholic Bronwyn Openshaw said: "I'm actually quite upset because it doesn't taste nice without the wafer."
Tracy Bennett was equally unhappy and fumed: "If I didn't want wafer, I wouldn't have bought a KitKat.
"Not happy."
Yvonne Donnelly added: "Gutted I got a KitKat with no wafers inside, just orange chocolate.
"Gutted!
"How can I have a break now without a KitKat?"
Bels Reed even joked that the lack of wafer made her manager cry.
Yet Logan Bradley bucked the trend and said: "I just bit into a Kit Kat that didn't have a wafer in it and honestly it made my whole day.
"KitKat, I love you."
KitKats - made by Nestle - also came under fire last week for announcing it will discontinue its vegan options.
It said the 'KitKat V' was less popular than its dairy counterpart.
But a new tweet from the brand suggests it is not gone forever.
KitKat tweeted one customer: "Our KitKat V will be returning to the UK later on this year!
"Keep an eye on our social pages for more information on its return!"
Nestle has been approached for comment.
It comes after a woman threatened Nestle with legal action after she bought eight waferless KitKats.
Saima Ahmad was so enraged that she wrote a strongly worded letter to manufacturer Nestle explaining her disappointment and even quoted legal precedents from the 1930s to back up her case.
The 20-year-old law student from Enfield, north London, bought a multipack of eight KitKats from her local supermarket for £2 in 2016 to share with her friends.
Saima, who was at the time a second year law student at Kings College London, feels misled by the company and believes that they have ignored their duty of care to consumers.
She said: "They go about advertising the unique concept of KitKat, but I'm so disappointed by what I have purchased.
"I'm hoping they will apologise to me and in future focus more on quality of their product.
"No one else in that industry has that unique concept about mixing the wafer with the chocolate and that's why I'm a fan."
Chocoholic Saima threatened to take legal action and sue the confectioner unless they give in to her demand.
