Georgia Bulldogs running back Branson Robinson will no have limitations entering fall camp. Robinson missed the 2023 college football season with a ruptured patella tendon injury that he suffered on Aug. 22, 2023. Robinson also missed spring practice this year as he worked his way back from the serious injury.
Georgia head coach Kirby Smart updated Robinson’s status ahead of the Dawgs’ first day of fall camp. “It’s not a shock to me that he’s able to start and go without limitations, but load management is critical,” said Smart.
Robinson figures to be one of Georgia’s top options at running back this fall. Robinson, who is a former four-star recruit, has an excellent combination of size and strength.
The talented running back last played in 2022. Robinson has 68 carries for 330 yards and three touchdowns in his career.
If Robinson continues to show progress in his recovery, then he may be available for Georgia’s season opener against the Clemson Tigers on Aug. 31.
