American rock band Kings of Leon was forced to stop a concert in Glasgow after a fight broke out during their set. Frontman Caleb Followill halted the band's performance of hit song 'Crawl' at the OVO Hydro on Tuesday when he spotted the disturbance in the crowd.
Clips from fans show the singer asking fans "Is it the bald guy kicking off?", as the crowd began to boo the interruption. Caleb later jokes "It's always the f****** guys, isn't it" as the audience cheered.
Eyewitnesses say one man was escorted out of the building by security before the band finished their set. One told Glasgow Live : "The fight broke out about 30 seconds before the band noticed the scuffle.
"I was sitting in perfect view of the situation, and was surprised to see that the fight continued for as long as it did. When the band noticed, it was dealt with well and handled by the stewards, or whoever, efficiently enough.
"I'm just happy it didn't happen more because it would have been frustrating for the gig to be stopped again. It was annoying enough having my favourite song cut off by a fight, but I'm sure the audience would have been more frustrated if it had happened again."
Police Scotland and The OVO Hydro have both been contacted for comment on the situation.
Kings of Leon continue their UK tour with a visit to Newcastle's Utilita Arena on Wednesday June 29. The rock band are being supported on their UK tour by Scottish indie band, The Snuts.
