The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, has directed to transfer Yemeni Siamese twins Mawaddah and Rahmah from Yemen to the King Abdulaziz Medical City of the National Guard in Riyadh to conduct medical examinations and check on the possibility of separating them.
Advisor at the Royal Court, King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) Supervisor General, and head of the medical team to separate the Siamese twins Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Rabeeah said that the King’s humanitarian gesture towards the Yemeni people is an extension of his several humanitarian stances towards the needy across the world.
Mawaddah and Rahmah are both females and were born attached in the lower chest and abdomen area.
