King Charles has "totally outplayed" the Duke and Duchess of Sussex with this response to their Netflix documentary.
According to a royal commentary, the docuseries "Harry and Meghan" has not gone unnoticed by the monarch, with Prince William also reportedly reacting to the show that has led to several "royal revelations". And it has left many thinking that a return to royal life for the Sussexes is now impossible.
However, reports in the Telegraph shed a different light, with the publication claiming His Majesty will be sending invitation to Harry and Meghan ahead of his coronation, with a source telling the paper that "all members of the family will be welcome".

And according to royal commentator, the King's move "goes a long way towards making the Royal Family look magnanimous and warm-hearted Royal Family, willing to be the much bigger people and to look past that Netflix nonsense", reports The Daily Star.
King Charles is even expected to "mention" the Duke and Duchess in his first Christmas speech - which was recorded after the first three episodes of the Netflix docuseries were released.
Elser, writing for News.au, continued: "The same report stated even after the final episodes aired, there was no desire to make any changes to his carefully considered message in the wake of the increasingly ferocious attacks.
"The Palace’s Sun Tzu-worthy strategy goes beyond the Sussexes’ inclusion in next year’s big day to them doing something else that has taken some by surprise. Absolutely nothing.
"The only line that has emerged from the Palace has been a firm 'no comment', a position from which they will reportedly not be budging."
However, there is reportedly tension between the Princes, with claims William "has no plans to speak to Harry" following the series.
In one episode, Prince Harry states that Kensington Palace “lied to protect my brother" in a statement denying a story that William had bullied him out of the Royal Family.
The King also came under fire, with Harry accusing him of lying at the so-called "Megxit" crisis meeting with the late Queen back in January 2020.
