King Charles is becoming progressively irritated at Prince Harry's continuous public claims and behaviour according to a royal source.
Since stepping down as a working royal, the Duke has spoken out publicly on multiple occasions about his strained relationship with his relatives, and he has made a number of controversial allegations against 'the Firm'.
In recent years, the King's younger son has made it his mission to reform the British media and has launched a number of legal battles, the Express reports.
Harry told Tom Bradby during an ITV interview in January that his father allegedly told him it was "probably a suicide mission" to try and change the press, before adding that he would not stop trying to "resolve" what he saw as wrongdoing.
While Harry made a brief appearance at the King's Coronation in May, his relationship with his father still doesn't seem to be as good as it once was.
A source told the Sunday Times: "The King brings Harry up every time I see him.
"I don’t think we’ve moved past sad and bewildered, but there’s a bit more frustration at his behaviour, because it just keeps going."
Another source said that Prince Harry seems to have "lost all the instincts" royals are taught to have when it comes to what can be said publicly.
They added that, although Harry is no longer a working royal, he is still a member of the Royal Family and remains fifth-in-line to the throne.
Referring to TV host James Corden, who the source described as being a close friend of the Duke of Sussex, they claimed: "I think he’s been sitting in the Californian sunshine for a long time, hanging out with James Corden and has lost all the instincts on how to do this, how to conduct himself carefully, still as a member of the Royal Family.
"He’s lost the knack of what he can and can’t say and there is no one around him to say, ‘No, Harry, you can’t say that, take that bit out’."
Despite his decision to step down as a working royal with wife Meghan Markle in 2020, Harry still retains his position in line for the throne as the second son of King Charles.
However, he is destined to be pushed down the ranks once Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis all have children of their own.
Harry also still holds the role of Counsellor of State, which is a position held by law by the sovereign's spouse and the next four people in the line of succession over the age of 21.
At least two counsellors can step in at the one time to carry out a number of roles in place of the monarch's absence in the case of a brief illness or a visit abroad.
However, it is unlikely that the Duke will ever be called for this duty following the approval of the Counsellors of State Act, which also added Princess Anne and Prince Edward to the existing group of potential stand-ins for the King.
Despite their public rifts with 'the Firm' putting some distance between them and some of their royal relatives, Harry and Meghan are still very much tied to the royal family through their titles.
The couple have used their Duke and Duchess of Sussex titles on several enterprises and public appearances over the past few years.
They also decided to style their kids Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet with titles which they became entitled to following Charles' accession to the throne.
However, shortly after stepping down from their royal duties in January 2020, the pair made an agreement with the Palace that they would no longer use their HRH styles in an official capacity.
