King Charles 'bans Queen's right-hand woman Angela Kelly from revealing royal secrets'

King Charles III has reportedly banned the late Queen's dresser from sharing royal secrets in exchange for a new home in the North.

Angela Kelly, who was considered one of Queen Elizabeth's closest confidenes, has been permitted to choose a new grace-and-favour home after having to move out of the Windsor estate, it's claimed.

However, in order to sure up her silence on royal matters, Ms Kelly was presented with a non-disclosure agreement as part of the deal.

The gagging order reportedly makes it very difficult for Ms Kelly to make any future earnings based on revellations about the Royal Family.

A source added that Ms Kelly would is also prohibited from using the words 'King' and 'Palace' for commercial purposes.

Ms Kelly has already published two books about her role, but this was with the Queen's blessing.

It is understood that she had permission from the Queen to pen a third, but that the new agreement will likely scupper those plans, The Mail on Sunday reports.

The King reportedly felt that an updated version of Ms Kelly's second book, 'The Other Side Of The Coin: The Queen, The Dresser And The Wardrobe' went 'too far' in terms of revealing intimate details about the Royal Family.

In the book, Ms Kelly described the Queen's behaviour following the funeral of her husband Prince Philip.

"I helped her off with her coat and hat and no words were spoken. The Queen then walked to her sitting room, closed the door behind her, and she was alone with her own thoughts," she wrote.

Ms Kelly confirmed her move up north with a post on Instagram (Getty Images)

Last week, Ms Kelly was seen moving her belongings out of her Grade II-listed grace-and-favour cottage on the Windsor estate.

Writing on Instagram, she confirmed her move up north.

"Getting ready to say goodbye. I am moving at last to my new home, which I will be able to call My Home at last," she wrote.

"I'm moving to the Peak District just further on than Sheffield so not too far away from the family... Looking forward to my New Adventures."

Following the Queen's death, Ms Kelly was made redundant as Camilla retained the services of Jacqui Meakin as her dresser, who also worked with the Queen Mother.

Ms Kelly was also reportedly not popular with some at the palace due to her temper.

She hinted at this with a post on Instagram recently, writing: "I am too old to worry about who likes me and who dislikes me!"
