'Kindest waiter in Leeds' hangs up apron after a decade leaving hundreds 'devastated'

A waiter dubbed a "New Farnley legend" has brought sadness to the village as he hangs up his apron after 10 years.

Dave Watson, known as "Maître D", has become well known as a server and front of house at New Farnley Cricket Club and Cafe.

He has been branded "the kindest" and "loveliest" waiter in Leeds.
