Tributes have flooded in for a "kind" teenager who died during a five-minute gap between checks while on suicide watch in hospital.
Sarah-Louise Doyle, 19, from Bootle, was found hanging from a bathroom door by a support worker at Clock View Hospital, Walton, on February 26 this year. The teenager's death has prompted concerns about the checks being too predictable and the need for collapsible doors in the ensuite area of rooms.
Sarah-Louise had struggled with her mental health and was diagnosed with emotionally unstable personality disorder (EUPD) and anorexia and had been sectioned under the Mental Health Act in November last year. She was described as somebody "always helping everybody out" and had been in her third year of a health and social care course at Hugh Baird College.
