A kind-hearted restaurant owner in Glasgow, who is often praised for his charity work, is heading to Pakistan in March to help feed families in need.
Muhammad Sultan, who runs Charcoals Indian restaurant in the Trongate, is heading to the capital city Lahore on March 6.
He will be flying over from Glasgow, bringing with him much-needed food packages to help feed as many people as he can while he is there.
Muhammad uses his own money for the special cause but thanked the many customers from Charcoals who have also given generously to the important cause.
Muhammad said: "Usually I go every year [to Lahore, Pakistan] myself, as I want to make sure that the charity I do goes to the right people.

"The packages contain 5kg of rice, 5kg of sugar, 5kg of flour, oil and syrup to make juice.
"This package lasts for a month for a family for four, so 1,000 families are getting advantage of that."
They'll also be doing two large cookouts with huge pots of chicken biryani which Muhammad and his team reckon could feed up to 500 people a day.
The work he will be doing in Pakistan mirrors what he does for the Glasgow community.
Celebrating his charity work over the past decade, Muhammad was recently awarded for his campaign of giving out free food between the hours of 3 and 4 pm on Mondays and Tuesdays to homeless people in Glasgow, from his restaurant.
Muhammad also goes out of his way to offer much-needed items such as gloves, hats and sleeping bags to the homeless when he can.
