A top-rated East Lothian restaurant is offering free heartwarming pizzas to carers finishing their rounds late into the night.
The Dunbar diner, which has great reviews and is ranked fourth best in the city on TripAdvisor, took to social media to share the news.
Posting on Facebook, the Hector's Artisan Pizzeria management team said: "Any carers out on their rounds on this freezing night, pop in for a pizza on us. Sit in or take away."

The announcement struck a chord with the local community, with people praising the diner for their kindness in the comment section under the post.
Other social media users applauded the decision with gifs and emojis and said, "that's awesome", "how amazing", and "super kind".
The venue specialises in pizzas and has 11 pizzas on offer - from all-time favourite classics like Margharita and Pepperoni to speciality inventions with intriguing names, like Crombies of Edinburgh Belhaven Banger.
The restaurant's announcement, on Wednesday, January 18, came as the region was battered with another wave of freezing spells, with temperatures dropping below zero during nights.
It also references the ongoing cost of living crisis and alarming inflation rates that make many locals struggle financially - and carers are amongst the ones affected the most.
