Kinahan cartel rapist Barry Finnegan was hauled before a court yesterday as he was charged with breaching conditions of the Sex Offenders Act.
The 42-year-old was brought from Mountjoy Garda Station by detectives to the Criminal Courts of Justice for a late sitting.
He was charged over allegedly failing to comply with the conditions of the Act by failing to notify the gardai of a new address.

He has one conviction under the Criminal Law (Rape) (Amendment) Act 1990.
An application for bail was granted, but under strict conditions.
Finnegan must reside at his Hardwicke Street address in Dublin, surrender his passport and sign on three times a week in a garda station.
He must also provide gardai with a mobile phone number. The thug also has to comply with a curfew between 11pm and 8am.
Finnegan walked from the courts shortly after the hearing.
He was arrested last Friday on a separate matter.
He was questioned in relation to the murder of Eddie Hutch, brother of Gerry “The Monk” Hutch, on February 8, 2016.
Gardai believe the murder was a retaliation for the Regency Hotel murder of David Byrne three days beforehand.
Investigators classify Finnegan as a major associate of the Kinahan cartel. He is close pals with Liam Byrne, who once ran the Irish branch of the gang’s operations.
Finnegan was named in submissions to the High Court from the Criminal Assets Bureau in its successful case against Byrne in 2018.
Cartel leader Daniel Kinahan is the subject of international sanctions placed on him by the US Government, with a €5million bounty on his head along with his father Christy Snr, 66, and brother Christy Jnr, 43.
