Kimberly Guilfoyle has resigned as US ambassador to Greece amid allegations that she solicited $100,000 (£75,000) from a MAGA donor to pay her American Express bill, prompting a lawsuit threat and accusations of 'grifting on the highest level.'

The resignation follows a request from President Donald Trump's administration, confirmed by White House press secretary Katie Zacharia on Tuesday, 13 October.
