Kim Woodburn has admitted that she never actually did any cleaning as the co-host of Channel 4 ’s How Clean Is Your House?
The much-loved TV star, 81, who has also appeared in I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! and Celebrity Big Brother, told GB News that although it may have seemed like she was down on her hands and knees scrubbing the dirt away, she never once got her hands dirty.
Instead, there was a team of cleaners at hand to do all the work – while she took the credit.
"They had a team of cleaners, loads of lovely smashers," the outspoken TV star told GB News.
"We had window cleaners, we had the man clean the carpets, I just went round and thoroughly camped it up and did the tips.
"Apart from that, no, I didn’t clean. I always said, 'I’m not cleaning'."
Known as the Queen of Clean, Kim rose to prominence by co-presenting the Channel 4 series alongside co-host, Aggie MacKenzie.
From 2003 to 2009, Kim and Aggy would help those in need of a good spring clean and those who have found themselves unable to keep up with cleanliness in their homes.
In a discussion with Nana Akua on GB News, Kim also revealed that she has had extensive plastic surgery during the eye-opening chat.
"I've got a few bob, I’m a long time dead and wrinkles, I don't like. I've had surgery on everything to be honest," the TV star admitted.
"But I'm not going to sit and do what they all do, they sit there doing this, 'I’ve never had any surgery'. You can’t move your face, you liar!
"I’ve had lots of surgery done, lots of it, and I'll go on having it dear, yes I will."
Asked about Phillip Schofield’s recent resignation from This Morning amid ongoing rumours that he is feuding with co-host Holly Willoughby, Kim said: "He is unkind. He's ruthless.
"He has an ego the size of the Empire State Building and he's not remotely kind.
"That show was egotistical – I hope they get rid of Holly as well, I'm sorry."
