Kim Kardashian is reportedly longing for the day soon-to-be ex-husband Kanye West accepts their marriage is over.
The reality TV legend, 41, was declared 'legally single' last week, and the mum-of-four is said to be 'truly happy' with the progress in her ongoing divorce saga.
Kim - who is currently dating comedian Pete Davidson - is apparently looking forward to her estranged husband no longer being able to disturb her peace, as she tries to move on with her life following their split.
"She longs for the day when things finally calm down and Kanye accepts the reality of the situation, that she’s moved on and doesn’t want his drama interrupting her as she tries to move on with her life," an insider has claimed to US Weekly.
A second source added to the publication that the SKIMS founder sees her legal single status as a "positive step forward" in her ongoing divorce from the Grammy award-winning rapper, 44.
"Even though other issues are still being disputed, it’s a huge weight off her shoulders," they added when discussing the former couple.
Kim, who shares children North, 8, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 2, with Kanye, originally filed for divorce from the Donda singer in February 2021, after nearly seven years of marriage.
Although their split began on amicable terms - with Kim even 'remarrying' her ex on stage in August 2021 - thanks to Kanye's concerning social media posts over recent weeks, things have taken a more dramatic turn.
After making her hosting debut on Saturday Night Live in October 2021, Kim struck up a romance with one of the show's biggest stars, Pete Davidson.
Dad-of-four Kanye has not taken his ex's new relationship well - taking to Instagram multiple times to attack the comedian - whom he refers to as 'Skete' - and publish private text messages from the mother of his children.

The Slow Jamz rapper released a music video on March 2 for his latest track Eazy, and has been receiving a lot of backlash over the burial of the stop-motion claymation version of Pete.
In the animated video, Kanye raps about the King of Staten Island star, as visuals onscreen act out a violent scenario.
Kanye raps in the song: "God saved me from the crash, just so I can beat Pete Davidson's a**."
After a huge backlash towards the controversial music video, the rapper took to Instagram to seemingly to address the concern from fans.
Captioning an illustration of a church on fire on Instagram, he wrote: "Art is therapy just like this view."
"Art is protected as freedom of speech. Art inspires and simplifies the world. Art is not a proxy for any ill or harm.
"Any suggestion otherwise about my art is false and mal intended."
