Kim Kardashian has appeared to like Macklemore's social media post about his removal from Ed Sheeran's North American tour, drawing attention to the rapper's call to 'Free Palestine' and his pledge to donate $1 million (about £0.75 million) to organisations supporting Palestinians.
Macklemore was removed from the remaining US dates of Sheeran's Loop Tour after making pro-Palestinian comments during a 4 September performance at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. He later pledged his $1 million net earnings from the tour to six organisations supporting Palestinians and challenged New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft to match the donation.
Kardashian has not publicly explained the apparent like or indicated whether it was intended as a political statement. The interaction has also brought renewed attention to a 2023 livestream in which she incorrectly identified the Palestinian flag as Brazil's while speaking with her daughter North West.
Kardashian Appears To Like Macklemore Statement
Macklemore's removal followed his MetLife Stadium appearance, where he called for a 'Free Palestine' and performed his protest song Hind's Hall. Tour promoter Messina Touring Group said venue owners had informed organisers that Macklemore would not be allowed to perform on the remaining dates.
Sheeran later said the decision had been made by the promoter and venues, not by him. All four other supporting acts subsequently withdrew from the US tour, including Finneas and Lukas Graham.
Macklemore then announced that his $1 million net earnings from the shortened tour would be donated to six organisations supporting Palestinians. He also challenged Kraft to match the contribution, while children's entertainer Ms Rachel later said she would match Macklemore's donation.
Kardashian was identified online among the celebrities who appeared to have liked Macklemore's statement. She has not commented publicly on the interaction, so the apparent like does not establish a wider position on the conflict.
Palestinian Flag Incident Resurfaces
The interaction has also brought attention back to a 2023 livestream involving Kardashian and North West.
During an October 2023 TikTok broadcast, viewers posted Palestinian flag emojis in the comments. When North asked what the flag represented, Kardashian incorrectly identified it as the Brazilian flag and linked the comments to footballer Neymar.

CNN Brasil reported at the time that Kardashian then moved to end the livestream. The report also included online speculation about why she had identified the flag incorrectly, but Kardashian did not publicly give an explanation for the exchange.
Her apparent interaction with Macklemore's post has now led users to revisit the earlier incident alongside his recent comments about the Israel-Palestine conflict.
SKIMS Expansion Provides Further Context
Kardashian's business interests in Israel have also become part of the online discussion surrounding the apparent like.
Her SKIMS brand officially entered the Israeli market in November 2025 through a partnership involving the Irani Group, which owns retailer Factory 54. The brand began selling through Factory 54's website and selected stores before opening dedicated retail space.

The first dedicated SKIMS store in Israel opened at Ramat Aviv Mall, with the brand also sold through other Factory 54 locations.
The commercial expansion and Kardashian's apparent like of Macklemore's post are separate developments. Kardashian has not said that the interaction represents a change in her views or explained whether she intended it as a statement about the Israel-Palestine conflict.
