Kim Kardashian 'increases kids' security at school' in wake of Kanye West's latest rants

Kim Kardashian has reportedly paid for increased security measures at her children's school following a series of rants by her ex-husband, Kanye West.

The couple, who divorced earlier this year, share North, nine, Saint, six, Chicago, four, and Psalm three.

'Ye', as he now refers to himself, is currently serving bans from both Instagram and Twitter due to his latest outburst, in which the 45-year-old made anti-Semitic remarks.

In a previous meltdown, meanwhile, he publicly revealed the name of his offspring's school - The Donda Academy - sparking 41-year-old Kim to shell out more money on security as an extra precaution.

According to TMZ Kim's move is down to 'concern someone could see his messages about the school and show up on campus' rather than the school seeing the rapper as a threat himself.

Last month Ye caused controversy by sharing a text message conversation about schooling that he'd had with SKIMS founder Kim.

In it, Kim asked him to 'please stop', but undeterred, Ye responded: "No. We need to talk in person. You don’t have say so of where the kids go to school. Why you get say say. Cause you half white?"

In a second post, meanwhile, he insisted that the 'kids [are] going to Donda' before a third saw him rant: "It’s not up to Calabasas or Hulu where my kids go to school I’m not the crazy one here It's up. I won’t stop until I have a say so on my kids no matter what it legally takes."

In one rant, Ye shared a number of private conversations with ex Kim to his Instagram account (Getty Images for This Is About H)

Just days prior to that Gold Digger star Ye had shared a more positive note, however, revealing that he had 'had a good meeting with Kim about the schools'.

Donda Academy was reportedly opened by Ye himself earlier this year and is named after his mother. It is a tuition-based Christian prep school that is said to charge around $15,000 (£13,000) per year.

According to the private school, it is aims to "prepare students to become the next generation of leaders, thinkers and innovators".

The institution, said to be based in California, promises a "world-class education," according to its website, which involves worship, science classes, choir and even parkour.
