Kim Kardashian fans slam star for her 'dangerous' way to 'stop herself from eating'

Kim Kardashian has been criticised after an apparent confession as to how she manages to keep so in shape.

The reality TV star, 41, has been showing off her leaner frame recently, but some fans think she is taking her trimming down too far.

And now critics think they've spotted her "secret" when trawling through past articles. One user shared a quote allegedly made by Kim in 2010 while at the White House Correspondents dinner. The article's source claimed the SKIMS founder told presenter Ryan Seacrest she would spray her food with Windex in a bid to stop her eating it.

The article said Kim told the American Idol host at the time: "I spray Windex on my food so I won’t eat it!" It continued to say Kim would only do this "trick" when she was at home. When eating out, it claimed she would "pour soda to spoil temptation for unwanted meals".

But following the resurfacing of the alleged quotes, fans have hit out at her supposed tactics on social media. One user wrote: "Sometimes I think [the Kardashians] say s*** in an attempt to sound edgy and controversial... Anything for attention."

Another commented: "When it comes to the Kardashians sometimes I can't tell the real thing from the bull," while a third said: "Imagine having the luxury of being able to waste food like that. Shameful."

In May, Kim explained the efforts and methods she went through as she desperately slimmed down to fit into Marilyn Monroe's iconic gold dress for this year's Met Gala. She ended up dropping 16 pounds in three weeks, which again prompted criticism.

In a recent interview with Allure, Kim hit back at her critics and said: "If I was starving and doing it really unhealthy, I would say that, of course, that’s not a good message. But I had a nutritionist, I had a trainer. I have never drunk more water in my life.

"I don’t see the criticism for other people when they lost weight for roles — they are [considered] geniuses for their craft. There are so many things out there that are so not accurate and not true."

A source recently voiced their concerns about her weight loss however. Speaking to The US Sun, they said: "She's the skinniest she's ever been and barely sleeping.

"Her family knows that a lot of this is her rebounding from a very controlling marriage, and her determination to show Kanye [West] how much better she is doing without him."
