Kim Kardashian divides people over party for her daughter with blood splattered tents

The Kardashian family are known for throwing extravagant parties, so it should be no surprise that Kim Kardashian went all out for daughter North's birthday celebrations.

The socialite flew the 9-year-old and her friends out to the Wyoming wilderness for an adventure-filled visit sure to be the envy of children everywhere.

But not everyone was left impressed by the theme of the party.

Kim divided opinion online after she shared a series of photos from "Camp North".

The pictures let fans in on what the children got up to on their spooky-themed adventure - including where they appeared to sleep.

And people had lots to say about the indoor tents, which looked to be mounted by plush deer heads and fake blood.

One comment on Kim's Instagram read: "The blood-spattered deer tents are something."

"I had to look twice at that and zoom in on the bloody deer head. Prob could have left that part out," said another.

But several commenters rushed to the family's defence, praising North's mum for delivering a party perfect for the horror fan.

One person wrote: "It’s because north said she wanted it to be super scary and creepy."

Another added: "She wanted a horror themed party cause she likes doing special effects makeup."

And a third wrote: "It’s a horror theme for a CHILD. i wanted to sleep in a sleeping bag upside down when i was a kid, it’s not that deep."
