The Lucas Museum of Narrative Art opened its doors to Hollywood on September 19, and the red carpet outside the museum's Exposition Park home turned into one of the year's most star-studded fashion moments in Los Angeles. The opening night gala, celebrating the museum founded by George Lucas and his wife, Mellody Hobson, drew Kim Kardashian, Katy Perry, Oprah Winfrey, Michael B. Jordan, Laura Dern and dozens of other names from film, music and sports ahead of the museum's public opening on September 22.

Kardashian arrived in an archival Saint Laurent gown by Tom Ford, dating back to the house's fall/winter 2004 collection. The black sequined piece featured a keyhole cutout at the torso and heavy embellishment throughout, and was pulled from the archive by stylist Law Roach, who confirmed on social media that he has begun working with Kardashian. She paired the look with Oscar Heyman earrings and a Zydo ring, wearing her hair in a sleek low bun. Kardashian arrived alongside Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton, who also wore Saint Laurent for the evening, a black suit from the house's ready-to-wear line under creative director Anthony Vaccarello, giving the pair a coordinated, single-designer moment on the carpet.
