Kim Kardashian accused by fans of 'copying' Taylor Swift as bitter feud continues

Kim Kardashian has been accused by fans of copying Taylor Swift's Speak Now (Taylor's Version) album cover.

The duo have long been at loggerheads since Kim's ex Kanye West and the Anti-Hero hitmaker were embroiled in a massive and very public feud. It all started back in 2009 when he interrupted Taylor on-stage at the VMAs before they reconciled and then were once again at loggerheads after his Famous hit.

But despite the fact that Kim's divorce from the 46-year-old rapper was finalised in November 2022, it seems she still has bad blood with Taylor. Well, according to fans anyway.

Last Friday, Taylor thrilled fans with the release of Speak Now (Taylor's Version) - a re-recording of her 2010 album that has been re-released following her masters battle. The original album had a purple theme, which is something Taylor has carried through to this updated version.

On the cover of Speak Now TV, Taylor can be seen sporting a purple tulle dress by Giambattista Valli and from the fall 2019 couture collection. The purple frock is incredibly opulent in tone and jewel-like.

And just days after Speak Now TV was released, Kim was seen at a Dolce and Gabbana event in Puglia, Italy, with the 42-year-old reality star and SKIMS founder donning a frock that bears striking resemblance to Taylor's Speak Now look. The opulent frock draped off of Kim's shoulders in a similar way, with the starlet even posing in a similar pose too.

Kim shared the snap two days ago, with fans quick to comment on the post and accuse her of "copying" Taylor's signature Speak Now look. "Kim in her Speak Now era," penned one in the comments section, while another wrote: "Speak Now (Kim Kardashian Version)."

Another added: "Giving Speak Now," and a fourth wrote: "She wore purple for Speak Now release." Meanwhile on Twitter, the Swiftie fan base were quick to note the similarities between Kim's look and Taylor's.

"Kim Kardashian posting in this big purple dress only A DAY after Taylor Swift drops Speak Now (Taylor's Version) LOOKS A LITTLE TOO FAMILIAR," wrote one. While another joked: "You think Kim said 'oh lemme pose like the speak now album cover'?"

Another then said: "Kim Kardashian promoting Speak Now (Taylor's Version) at the Dolce & Gabbana Fashion show. She also recreated the pose on the album cover." While a fourth wrote: "Ms. Kim Kardashian how dare you wear that purple dress and pose over your shoulder when you know it’s Speak Now Taylor’s version week. How dare you."
