Kim Cattrall has confirmed the latest news that she'll be returning to Sex And The City.
The actress was said to be reprising her role as Samantha in the SATC spin-off show And Just Like That, despite initially declining to return to the show amid a huge feud with her fellow co-star Sarah Jessica Parker.
In an Instagram post, Kim shared a headline that explained the news of her And Just Like That cameo which is due to be released in the upcoming season later this month.
She added the caption: "Happy Pride," followed by a bunch of emojis.
Fans in the comments shared their happiness over her return despite her cameo only being for as long as one scene.
"Wow that's a great surprise I think you will make a lot of people happy with that decision," one wrote.
A second put: "Oh Kim! Does this mean I need to start watching this again? It wasn’t the same without you."
"I actually cried the happiest tears," another wrote.
A fourth typed: "Now I’ll finally watch, but just your episode."
In her return to the show, Kim's character Samantha will talk with Carrie (SJP) on the phone as she settles into her home in London. Kim reportedly hasn't had any scenes with her former castmates SJP, Cynthia Nixon or Kristen Davis.
Fans had come to terms with the fact that Samantha wouldn't be joining the ladies in New York after the idea for the series first came about, and Kim directly said that she wouldn't be joining the cast.
"It's a 'no' from me. You learn lessons in life and my lesson is to do work with good people and try and make it fun," she said at the time.
She's also had a public and bitter feud with her co-star SJP and has publicly called her out in an Instagram blast, making things frosty should Kim take up a recurring role on the show.
Sarah told Variety of their beef: "There's just too much public history of feelings on her part that she's shared. I haven't participated in or read articles, although people are inclined to let me know."
