The murder of a man gunned down outside a Wavertree chip shop still remain unsolved, six years on.
Aaron Lewis was hit with up to eight bullets, on Grosvenor Road, outside Anna Jung’s chip shop. The 26-year-old bricklayer was rushed to Aintree hospital but he died a short time later.
Detectives have made a number of arrests in connection with Aaron's murder but nobody has ever been charged. Now Merseyside police are issuing a fresh appeal for information.

Detective Inspector David Jones said: "It is now six years since Aaron was murdered, and his family are still unable to find closure and bring those responsible for his murder to justice. While six years is a long time to pass, a murder investigation is never closed.
"I would urge people in the community for their help with the investigation and that it is not too late to come forward with any information you may have, no matter how small. If you feel afraid to speak to us directly then give your information anonymously to Crimestoppers.
Detectives previously identified the two weapons involved in the Wavertree killing, which have both been recovered, as a 9mm handgun and a .44 calibre revolver. The getaway vehicle - a white Renault van which was later found burned out near Brookdale Road and Ferndale Road - had possibly up to three people inside at the time of the shooting.
According to previous reports, Two separate types of ammunition were recovered by officers but all signs indicated there being one shooter. In 2017, police confirmed a 19-year-old friend who was with Aaron was shot first in the attack, suffering non life-threatening wounds to his upper body.
DI Jones added: "Merseyside Police remains committed to keeping our communities safe and targeting gun and serious crime. There is no place in our city for firearms or those who use them to cause fear in our communities but we need the public to help us in our fight to get guns off our streets.
