A killer who beat a man to death at a kebab shop was sent back to jail after barking at a "terrified" barmaid.
Former boxer Eddy Ives, 34, was convicted of manslaughter after beating Ben Mahoney to death in a row at a kebab shop in 2013.
The pair argued over Ives’ attitude towards staff at the House on the Hill takeaway in Dartford, Kent.
After the attack, Ives demanded compensation from his victim's friend to clean his shirt and swiped food and drink off the shop counter.
The former champion boxer and Olympic hopeful was released from jail in September last year after eight years behind bars.
The father-of-two was banned from entering Dartford under the terms of a Violent Offender Order and was also told not to be drunk or on drugs in a public place.
It also prevented him from engaging in behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress.
But on January 25 he was seen by a barmaid at The Rose pub in Gravesend barking through the window. She said she knew who he was and ‘something of his history.’
As he entered the pub he was being loud and was boasting about stealing meat from another shop in town.
Donal Lawler, prosecuting, said Ives began ‘’hovering near the bar’’ and when she asked if she could help he was looking at her up and down and saying ‘’I know what you want’’.
He grabbed her wrists after he had paid for the drinks, which left her feeling scared, and asked for her phone number.
The prosecutor added: ‘’He then asked if she had a boyfriend. He was starting to intimidate her and she was worried about what he would do next."
His terrified victim went home and was told not to return because Ives had been ‘’back looking for you.’’
The woman was ‘’beyond terrified’’ after the incident and even had to move out of the area for a period after being harrassed by the former boxer.
Ives, from Leysdown in Kent, was later seen pushing another woman and trying to punch and kick a man who was standing at a bus stop.
He was jailed again for 36 weeks after admitting breaching the order at Maidstone Crown Court but was released due to time served on remand.
In addition to restrictions already imposed on him, he was also banned from going within 100m of the pub for the rest of his life.
In September 2013, a postmortem found Ben Mahoney died from a haemorrhage to an artery in his neck.
Takeaway manager Cafir Zorlu then told Maidstone Crown Court: "I had never seen a person die before and you could tell he was dead standing up.
"You could hear the punches.
"If Ben didn’t die I’m assuming he would have been paralysed somehow because the punches were just too strong."
