Killer mum who suffocated her baby son with a cleaning wipe sentenced to life in prison

A woman who suffocated her 17-month-old son with a cleaning wipe has been sentenced to life in prison.

Heather Reynolds, 45, from New Jersey, USA, was convicted of killing Axel Reynolds in July, some four years after the horrifying crime occurred in 2018.

Now - nearly three and a half months after a jury found the defendant guilty of murder - Reynolds has been served with a life sentence in prison, without the possibility of parole.
