Familiar foes Galway stand between Kilkenny and a fourth Leinster Senior Hurling Championship title in succession this weekend.
When the sides met at UPMC Nowlan Park back in April, there was nothing between them as they played out a 0-28 to 1-25 draw with Galway staging a late rally to claim a point.
Indeed, Henry Shefflin’s men are the only undefeated team so far in the All-Ireland SHC series after fighting back from being 12 points down against Dublin in their final round-robin game to rescue a draw at Croke Park.
The Tribesmen return to HQ bidding to lift the Bob O’Keefe Cup for the first time since 2018 having lost last year’s decider to the Cats by five points.
