Kieran Wright has been handed a new contract at Rangers.
The academy graduate has committed his future to the club until the summer of 2025 after putting pen to paper on a two-year extension. Allan McGregor has left with his contract now up while Jon McLaughlin could depart in the coming weeks alongside some other fringe men as the Ibrox rebuild begins.
The Ibrox veteran joined Alfredo Morelos, Ryan Kent, Filip Helander and Scott Arfield in departing after fresh terms were not handed out to the quintet. The Rangers faithful gave the five stars a big Ibrox send off last midweek in the final home game of the season against Hearts.

Robby McCrorie has had a run in the team of late as he stakes his claim to be the new number one under Michael Beale. He will add competition to his goalkeeping ranks this summer with Jack Butland widely linked with coming in on a free. The Manchester United loanee was quizzed by a fan recently on a move north and he gave a one-word answer.
The Ibrox gaffer has moved to tie down another goalkeeper to provide further competition in the shape of Wright with a short club statement reading: "Rangers are delighted to announce that Academy graduate Kieran Wright has signed a two-year contract extension with the club.
"The 24-year-old goalkeeper, who has trained regularly with the first-team under Michael Beale, has progressed through the youth ranks at the club and will now extend his stay at Ibrox until summer 2025.
"Wright has enjoyed loans throughout the Scottish football pyramid in his young career, spending time at Gala Fairydean Rovers, Albion Rovers, Dumbarton, Alloa Athletic, Raith Rovers and Partick Thistle.
"He has also represented Scotland at Under-17, Under-19 and Under-21 level, featuring for the first time in the matchday squad for Rangers as a 17-year-old back in March 2017."
