Newcastle United star Kieran Trippier insists the Magpies have had an excellent transfer window - and feels Eddie Howe has built a "brilliant" squad.
The full-back was reflecting on the window in the aftermath of the 2-1 defeat at Liverpool and believes the fact Newcastle pushed the Reds all the way shows how far they've come in a short space of time.
Trippier told Chronicle Live: "It has been a really good window you see the players we've brought in since January, great characters, great experience of the Premier League and you know, we signed [eight] players and most of them have slotted in straight away.
