Kieran Tierney's Arsenal transfer exit path becomes clear with Premier League leaders 'ready' for offers

Arsenal are ready to listen to summer transfer offers for Celtic hero Kieran Tierney, according to reports.

The Scotland's cap future at the Emirates has been hanging in the balance this campaign with the emergence of top man Oleksandr Zinchenko laying claim to the left-back spot in Mikel Arteta's starting eleven. Tierney, whose exploits for Scotland have been turning heads, has found only a handful of appearances as the Gunners trying to reclaim their grip on a potential Premier League title.

Tierney could only make the bench as Arsenal's title hopes withered with a 4-1 defeat to Manchester City, with Eddie Howe and Newcastle United said to be leading the charge for the 25-year-old's signature. He has been urged by Arsenal heroes everywhere to fight for his spot next season but the promise of rotation from Arteta seems to have left the former Celtic star with a decision to make.

Now, according to the Daily Mail, the North London side are 'ready' to listen to offers for both Tierney and former captain Granit Xhaka. The Gunners are preparing for a Champions League charge for the first time in over six years with some other stars such as Reiss Nelson and Ainsley Maitland-Niles said to be heading for the exit.

Tierney made the big-money move from Parkhead in 2019 and has pulled on the Arsenal shirt over 100 times. He could link-up with one-time Hoops manager target Eddie Howe in the summer.
