Kieran Tierney in touching Arsenal fan gesture as former Celtic star takes time to meet 'genuine inspiration'

Arsenal favourite Kieran Tierney has spent time with a young fan in a heart-warming exchange.

Young Gunners fan Cameron has cerebral palsy, and Wednesday's Premier League match with Liverpool was his last before undergoing a large operation.

His trainer, Tony Smith, launched a social media appeal to see if former Celtic left-back Tierney could meet Cameron, who is also a Hoops fan.

The Scotland cap answered the call and prior to the important match at the Emirates, linked up with Cameron.

Both Tierney and Cameron exchanged shirts as the defender met with his family and signed memorabilia.

Cameron's mum, Clare Taylor, posted a video of her son prior the meeting, where he said: "This so cool. I am speechless. I've got a Celtic top as I've been to a few Celtic games.

"I was screaming at you as you got your water bottle to see if the rumours of you going to Arsenal were true. I was very happy you decided to go to Arsenal."

Tierney added on social media: "Amazing to meet Cameron and his family last night. A genuine inspiration."

Arsenal put up a fight against Liverpool but Jota and Roberto Firmino goals sealed a 2-0 away win.
