Kieran Sadlier to start and Kyle Dempsey still out? Bolton Wanderers predicted team vs Morecambe

Bolton Wanderers will be seeking to make it two wins on the bounce this evening in League One when they take on Morecambe.

Wanderers host the Shrimps this evening at the University of Bolton Stadium aiming to make it back to back wins in League One.

Ian Evatt's side are seeking to narrow the gap to the play-offs which currently stands at seven points.

The Wanderers boss faces a tricky decision in the attacking department, with Elias Kachunga soon to be available again too after recoveing from injury.

He said: " Every game he (Sadlier) comes into my mind about starting. We’ve got some seriously good options when Kyle (Dempsey) and Kacha return, and you’ve got the (Amadou) Bakayoko and (Jon Dadi) Bodvarsson scenario and Dion (Charles), Gethin (Jones) coming back obviously.

"I’m pleased with where that squad is at but the most important thing is that people who are playing respect the shirt and make sure they perform well. If they don’t, then there are people ready to take their place."

"But also if it’s not your turn in the team, make sure you are ready first and foremost, but make sure you support your teammates."

James Trafford would be expected to continue as goalkeeper, while the back three of Will Aimson, Ricardo Almeida Santos and George Johnston which started the win over Gillingham is also anticipated to carry on, with Gethin Jones remaining on compassionate leave following the death of his mother.

The familiar wing-back combination of Marlon Fossey and Declan John should line up once again.

Kyle Dempsey missed taking on his old club Gillingham over the weekend due to illness and a groin injury and Evatt has suggested that the midfielder will not be risked if he is not 100 per cent recovered from both.

That could mean MJ Williams and Aaron Morley continuing in central midfield, while Sadlier could start as number 10.

If so, the most probable strike partnership could see Dion Charles and Dapo Afolayan line up alongside one another, with Amadou Bakayoko and Jon Dadi Bodvarsson also candidates in the positions.

Bolton Wanderers predicted starting XI vs Morecambe: Trafford; Aimson, Santos, Johnston; Fossey, Williams, Morley, John; Sadlier; Charles, Afolayan.
