Bolton Wanderers take on Salford City this evening and it will be interesting to see the team selection Ian Evatt makes for the Carabao Cup clash.
The Whites take on the Ammies at the University of Bolton Stadium in the first round of the competition. It will be the first time the two sides have played since the 2020/21 season, where Wanderers came out on top in the two clashes in League Two.
A place in the second round up for grabs. The draw for this will take place on Wednesday evening after the conclusion of the televised game between Sunderland and Sheffield Wednesday.

Ian Evatt has kept his cards close to his chest in terms of team selection, saying in the early stage of the season he does not have to make changes, nor pick the same team which started the win over Wycombe Wanderers over the weekend. The team selection will be based upon the side best tailored to deal with Salford and overcome them.
He said: "We are at a stage of the season where I don’t have to do anything. I don’t have to make changes and I don’t have to pick the same team. Like always, I will pick a team that I think will hurt Salford and their weaknesses, and also be able to cope with their strengths.
"You have to go out there and earn the right to play. We will pick a team which we think is the right team to beat Salford.
"What that looks like, whether that is 11 starters from Saturday or none, I am not going to tell you. But we will pick a team that we think is capable of winning that game."
Nine substitutes are available on the bench for Evatt to select from, should the Bolton boss wish to make changes during the encounter. Several players who began the win over the Chairboys could start.
James Trafford could well start as goalkeeper again ahead of Joel Dixon. The back three could be largely unchanged, though Will Aimson is yet to play in the first two games of the season and so could come in to start.
Declan John could return to the team at left wing-back. Kieran Sadlier is a potential to start on the opposite flank.
Kieran Lee was an unused substitute over the weekend so would be fresh to start against the Ammies. Amadou Bakayoko could start again, while Jon Dadi Bodvarsson could also be handed his first start of the campaign too.
Bolton Wanderers predicted starting team vs Salford City: Trafford; Aimson, Santos, Johnston; Sadlier, Dempsey, Williams, John; Lee; Bakayoko, Bodvarsson.
