Kieran Hayler has had his air rifle taken off him by Sussex Police after claims he had threatened to fire it, according to reports.
The former husband of Katie Price was arrested over the weekend on suspicion of possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence and child neglect.
Kieran, 36, has since been released from police custody after being taken in for questioning at the station in Worthing, West Sussex, before celebrating Easter with his partner Michelle Penticost and a group of friends.
But sources now suggest that his air rifle was seized by police while he continued to assist them.
A source said: "Kieran's air rifle was taken as is standard procedure in an investigation like this."
"Police were acting on claims made over a week ago that he had allegedly threatened to use it," they added to The Sun.
Meanwhile, a spokesperson for Kieran confirmed that the former stripper is "confident he has not done anything wrong".
They went on to suggest that his arrest was a "shock" to those close to him and that there was " malicious intent by the people behind it."
On Saturday, police stated that Kieran had been arrested, with a spokesperson telling the Mirror: "A man has been arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence and child neglect.
"He has been taken into custody for questioning. We will not be commenting further."
A source close to him went on to tell us that he had been assisting officers after they had arrived at his home at around 4pm on Good Friday.
Since the news of his arrest, his ex-wife Katie, who he shares son Jett, nine, and daughter Bunny, eight, with has broken her silence.
While at London's Stansted Airport, Katie said: "I just think he's disgusting."
"He's a disgusting human being," she told The Sun.
At around 2am on Easter Sunday, Kieran posted what appeared to be a snippet from an article about "parental alienation".
It was headlined: "Parental Alienation is child abuse" and went on to attempt to describe what it was and suggest what the "primary strategies of an abuser" were.
He did not reference Katie in the post.
Later, Kieran posted a video of Easter treats for his son Apollo that he shares with fiancée Michelle Penticost and Michelle's boy Valentino from a previous marriage.
"Oh, the Easter bunny has been this morning. Excited for Apollo and Valentino to get up and they get to see their stuff."
The Mirror approached Kieran's spokesperson for comment.
