GADAG: A cook who circulated a video of students cleaning school toilets in Nagavi, Gadag district, is facing the wrath of teachers and officials of the education department.
Vijayalaxmi Chalavadi, an assistant cook in the school, told TOI she shot the video on July 12. "The children came to me and asked me for a bucket and broom to clean the toilet. They said the teachers had asked them to do it. I felt it was not right and so recorded it and shared it in my WhatsApp groups," she explained.
