TV personality Kelly Osbourne, 41, has revealed she is going through one of the hardest periods of her life, seven months after losing her father, Ozzy Osbourne.

Over the weekend, Kelly attended the Brit Awards 2026 ceremony in Manchester alongside her mother, Sharon Osbourne, where they accepted a Lifetime Achievement Award on Ozzy’s behalf.

Shortly after the event, Kelly shared a message on Instagram addressing the cruel comments she has received in recent weeks.

She wrote that there is a particular kind of cruelty in attacking someone who is clearly struggling. She criticised those who question her grief, turn her personal struggles into gossip, or withdraw support when it is most needed.

Kelly said she should not have to defend herself but refuses to be dehumanised.

This comes just days after she responded to online remarks about her appearance, including a comment claiming she looked like “a dead body.” She called the abuse disgusting and stressed that no one deserves to be treated that way.

Since Ozzy’s passing in July last year at age 76, Kelly has been dealing with ongoing scrutiny online. The legendary Black Sabbath frontman died only weeks after performing his farewell concert in Birmingham.

During the awards ceremony, Sharon paid tribute to her late husband, describing him as both humble and larger than life. Accepting the honour, she said she wished he could have been there to receive it himself.
