Kick-Ass 2 director Jeff Wadlow recently shared insights into his experience working on the superhero sequel and the challenges he faced during production. The 2013 film continued the story of Kick-Ass and Hit-Girl, while introducing a new group of aspiring superheroes and supervillains. Although it seemed like the end of the Kick-Ass movie series, a reboot titled School Fight is currently in development by director Matthew Vaughn.
Wadlow revealed that he initially pitched his ideas for Kick-Ass 2 to Vaughn, which eventually led to him directing the film. Despite feeling intimidated by joining an established cast and crew, Wadlow expressed gratitude for the opportunity and the lessons he learned during the challenging shoot in London.
