Liverpool target Khephren Thuram has been "seduced" by the prospect of joining the Reds, according to respected French outlet L'Equipe.
Jurgen Klopp has already made one midfield acquisition already this summer as Alexis Mac Allister swapped the seaside for Merseyside arriving from Brighton & Hove Albion for an undisclosed fee - believed to be in the region of £35m. Attention now turns to who could follow him.
As the ECHO reported earlier this week, France U21 international Thuram is "under real consideration" as uncertainty swirls around his future.
Liverpool defender Ibrahima Konate spoke openly about the Reds' need to bolster the squad this summer as they look to right the wrongs of the last campaign that saw them finish fifth. The former RB Leipzig stopper also expressed his delight if 22-year-old Thuram were to make the move to Anfield.

Thuram is preparing with his Les Bleus teammates ahead of the U21s European Championships in Georgia and Romania which is due to commence this month.
French publication L'Equipe say that the midfielder isn't against leaving OGC Nice this summer, despite his attachments to the club.
They reported at the end of May that discussions had been engaged by the Reds for several weeks to measure whether a move for the Nice midfielder would be feasible.
In their report published this morning, it is claimed that Thuram has been encouraged by the project presented by the Reds. The article states: "If he [Randal Kolo Muani] decides to join Manchester, Kolo Muani could play a hot England derby against Khephren Thuram next year.
"Even after the signing of Alexis Mac Allister, Liverpool continues to make the recruitment of the Nice midfielder a priority objective. Contacts have multiplied in recent weeks.
"The player is not against leaving Nice, despite his attachment to the club, and has shown himself to be seduced by the Liverpool project."
A midfield overhaul is in the offing in L4 this summer after the departures of James Milner, Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain who bid farewell to the Kop in their final home match of the season against Aston Villa.
The trio are out of contract at the end of June and will officially become free agents at the start of July. Already, Milner and Keita have confirmed their new pastures in the form of Brighton and Werder Bremen respectively, while Oxlade-Chamberlain has been linked with a move to Villa.
