CHANDIGARH: Senior Congress leader and party's national general secretary Randeep Singh Surjewala on Sunday said that the BJP-JJP government of Haryana is constantly playing with the future of the youth of Haryana and this anti-youth government has converted the state into a center of 'paper leak mafia'.
Surjewala said that the BJP-JJP government of Haryana has set a disgraceful national record for more than three dozen major examination leaks. In Haryana, the frequent paper leaks and the ongoing trend of open copying has once again exposed the total incompetence of the state government. Under this government, Haryana has become such a center of the 'paper leak mafia' and 'paper selling mafia', where there is no fear of law among the mafia.
He said that in the last eight years, about forty papers were leaked and sold through 'Paper Leak Mafia' and 'Paper Selling Mafia', but till date neither the BJP-JJP government has been able to bust this mafia, nor it could control this mafia and it has failed to get them punished, as a result of which the paper leak mafia are getting emboldened day by day. Naturally, the needle of suspicion points towards the direct or indirect protection of the white collared people sitting in the corridors of power, but the government seems to be protecting them blindly.
He further said that the state government launched an all-out assault on the youth and education of the state. On the one hand, more than forty thousand posts are lying vacant in government schools and on the other hand, by abolishing Rule 134A, the dreams of lakhs of poor families of Haryana of enrolling their children in good private schools for education have been shattered.
He added that 15,265 posts of PGTs (post-graduate teachers), 18,236 of TGTs (trained graduate teachers), 1,046 of head masters, 3,929 posts of JBTs and PRTs, 663 posts of watchman, 579 of gardner and 738 of safai karamcharis have been lying vacant in Haryana.
He further added, 53 per cent posts of block education officers are lying vacant in the state. Despite this, the Haryana government withdrew the recruitment of 4,574 TGT and PGT posts only last week.
