New Delhi: Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge has accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of systematically reducing scholarships meant for students from SC, ST, OBC, and minority communities, alleging that the Modi government's actions have severely impacted the educational opportunities of marginalised youth.
Kharge, in a post on X, cited government data from Rajya Sabha responses and budget documents to highlight an allleged decline in scholarship beneficiaries over the past decade. He claimed that funds allocated for these programs had also been cut by 25 per cent annually on average.
