Keylor Navas became Nottingham Forest’s penultimate signing of the transfer window late on Tuesday, swelling Steve Cooper ’s January recruits to six before free agent Andre Ayew's arrival on Thursday.
The PSG keeper brought with him three Champions League winners’ medals in addition to two Ligue 1 and one La Liga titles. He also came with the blessing of the majority of Forest fans.
Navas was one of seven potential January signings supporters were asked to have their say on via NottinghamshireLive’s Swerve or Swoop tool. And perhaps reflecting the lack of quality options available, he was the only one fans were totally committed to signing.
